The renovated Allika nature trail is ready to receive visitors. Nearly 2 km long trail is situated at the northern part of the lake Prästvike. People can visit three different springs and have a look at the lake from the observation tower. The opening will take part on 12th of May at 15.30. The opening and walk along the path is organised together with the day of local culture and will bring people to the nature at the end of the day. Allika nature trail is one of the island's main attractions for the visitors and nature friends. |
WILDLIFE ESTONIA
NGO Wildlife Estonia is established in 2000. Our aim is to protect rivers and other aquatic habitats. We care about the nature, biodiversity and fish in particular.
HABITATS
Springs, rivers and lakes are our common treasure. The more natural status they have the more precious they are.
COMPETENCE
Successful application and implementation of river restoration and fish population status improvement projects. Scientific ichthyology studies with traditional and modern bio-telemetric methods.
