The main activity of the project - stocking of sturgeons - was continued as planned. This summer's newly hatched sturgeon arrived in Estonia from Germany. The Aquaculture and Fisheries Research Center, which keeps the sturgeon breeding stock in Germany, managed to collect and incubate the fish eggs well, and we were able to pick up a new batch of stocking material as planned. We brought over 200,000 newly hatched Atlantic sturgeon to Estonia. 20,000 larvae stay in the Põlula fish rearing center to eat and grow, the rest we introduced into the Narva River. This year's larvae stocked!
