Public event was organised together with the Environmental Board at the Viidumäe visitors centre, where the presentation were held. Very interesting was a presentation of the botanist from Tartu University Tatjana Oja about endangered and endemic species. We introduced our activities on project sites, specially at viidumäe. Representative of the Estonian Forest Management Centre Ants Animägi gave an overview about the conservation work at the Viidumäe. After the presentations the opening ceremony of the restored Allikasoo educational trail was held. We received very positive feedback, the trail is natural and the nature around it is beautiful and interesting. We extended the former trail, added a section for visiting one very representative tufa-forming spring.

Story about the public celebration was published in newspaper Saarte Hääl (Voice of Islands).
