This winter we have found several springs in Lake Prästvike and arround it. During the summer, it's not easy to find springs in the middle of the tense reed growing in a lake. However, in winter, after the maintenance work carried throgh in summer, we can move around much easier and also see open water in places. So we found one more spring, this time in the lake. The tufa and wegetation sedimentation is forming a mound, where some trees already have started to grow.
NGO Wildlife Estonia is established in 2000. Our aim is to protect rivers and other aquatic habitats. We care about the nature, biodiversity and fish in particular.
Springs, rivers and lakes are our common treasure. The more natural status they have the more precious they are.
