In May 2016, group of representatives of Belorussian nature conservation NGOs and organisations visited our project. We celebrated the LIFE and Habitat directive day at the Laeva river restoration site. This year they invited us together with the WWF Estonia team to visit their country.

Einar Kärgneberg from us joined the group of WWF Estonia people on the interesting and fruitful tour in Belorussia from 13th to 18th of August.

The goal was to make contacts and encourage further cooperation between Estonian and Belorussian experts on forest, rivers and meadows and to increase Estonian experts knowledge of state of these ecosystems, values and problems in Belarus.

WILDLIFE ESTONIA
NGO Wildlife Estonia is established in 2000. Our aim is to protect rivers and other aquatic habitats. We care about the nature, biodiversity and fish in particular.

HABITATS
Springs, rivers and lakes are our common treasure. The more natural status they have the more precious they are. 

COMPETENCE
Successful application and implementation of river restoration and fish population status improvement projects. Scientific ichthyology studies with traditional and modern bio-telemetric methods.
