We have organised a seminar for the workers of the Estonian Environmental Board where we introduced the project Happyfish and what has been done to improve the riverine habitat at the Alam-Pedja Natura 2000 area. We visited the sites where the conservation action has been effected- re-opened oxbow lakes, restored spawning grounds. We spread the information about what we saw at the international river restoration conference in Denmark. Also was made a presentation about the fish bio-telemetry. The speaker was telemetry expert Finn Okland from Norway. Finn Okland has successfully carried out about 150 different telemetry studies around the world. The presentation was very interesting and showed, how is possible to get answers on practical questions using the different telemetry methods. 2011 Seminar about the nature conservation work and bio-telemetry
